In this quick and “to the point” video, our friend and ECHO Design Team member Mariusz Wroblewski shows the most common ways he sees people break their Euro Nymphing rods.

Euro Nymphing rods have very sensitive tip sections to help load the rod during the unique cast used, and to detect what are often very sublte strikes that you would miss with a standard fly rod.

Having a sensitive tip section on this length of rod (10′ to 11′) is what makes a Euro Rod unique.  And while the benefits are many, the one drawback is that they can be prone to breaking for those anglers more used to standard fly rods that have more durable top sections.
