Joshua Schwartz

Chef Joshua Schwartz is a graduate of the New England Culinary Institute in Vermont. His culinary journey has taken him through some of the country’s finest restaurants, including Bouley, The French Laundry, Bouchon, and Per Se. In 2007, Joshua transitioned from the restaurant scene to the world of wine and food pairings at a renowned Napa Valley winery.

During his free time, Joshua began guiding Northern California rivers for trout, steelhead, and bass, where his clients enjoyed exceptional lunches on the water. Always striving to blend his two passions—cooking and fishing—Joshua’s vision ultimately led him to Travel Creel, considered the world’s first premier fishing lodge. With nine locations around the globe, Travel Creel offers top-notch hospitality for anglers paired with world-class fishing opportunities.

Chef Joshua currently resides in Sonoma County, California, with his wife, Samantha, and their three children: Asher, Gabriel, and Lydia.
