Favorite Fish: Steelhead
Home Water: The waters of Coastal British Columbia
The never-ending learning process of taking photographs, tying flies, fishing for wild steelhead and exploring new freshwater systems keeps me awake at night. It’s an obsession intertwining these passions, seeking magical unexpected moments, all while deciphering a scene to capture a certain feeling in a single frame. I feel like I’ve nailed a shot when the end result is able to raise awareness and motivate others to protect our precious water systems for future generations.
I feel very fortunate to call the coast of British Columbia home with a vast backyard that has far more than I’ll ever be able to photograph. I will forever gravitate towards the path in life that allows me to play in the wilderness, and sleep under the stars as many days as possible.
